Sometimes, when you're working through leaves you may encounter some unexpected errors. The following page will attempt to resolve any issues you may be having.
If your leave request has an issue, you will see a yellow banner at the top indicating that your request has errors. You will want to use the return button in the top-left to review what you've entered.
Solution: A typical resolution for this problem is to verify that your start date AND time is before (And not equal to) your end date AND time.
Helpful Information: Leave requests cannot be negative, or equal to zero. And you must also have the available leave necessary to make the request.
Solution: You should first check any pending leaves, and verify that if you have any leaves submitted for the future. If any exist, you should cancel these to take your most current leave. Pending leaves still count towards your overall count and should be handled as such.

Solution: The leave request you're trying to create must overlap an existing pending/approved leave request. You will need to determine how it overlaps and adjust your current leave request to not overlap with the existing.
Helpful Information: If you meant to submit leave with a specific type, you can cancel pending leaves and recreate it using the new type. If you have already submitted and your supervisor approved a leave, you will need to contact HR.
Solution: The leave request you are trying to submit overlaps with a special day event. This may, or may not, impact your leave request. Please speak to your supervisor to determine if you need a leave request for that date or not.
